Beechfang is a pale shaded silver tabby with white chin, throat, neck, chest and paws. The dark tabby stripes are relatively indistinct over much of Beechfang's body due to the white roots of the fur, but the tabby stripes are most apparent on her legs and shoulders. She has very long, thick fur that is best suited for the cold and is absolutely miserable in the warmer months. Dark yellow-green eyes stand out against her pale face. Her eyes are lined in black and she has a black nose and pawpads. There is a dark gray tabby stripe on each cheek just below her eyes, oddly distinct from the rest of her pelt. Her ears are both feathered and tufted with pale silvery fur.

Beneath the fluffy fur, Beechfang is solidly built with broad shoulders, well-muscled haunches and massive paws. She's very tall for a Maine Coon, standing 16in at the shoulder and weighing roughly 24lbs. While most of that weight is muscle, the sheer amount of fur does add a couple pounds.

As for scars, the ex-medicine cat has quite the collection due to how often she gets into fights. There are sets of clawmarks running down both flanks, mostly hidden by her long fur. Another set of clawmarks runs diagonally across her chest, and her left ear is tattered. Clawmarks stretch upwards from her chin, and another set spans from the top of her head, down between her ears and down her spine, all the way to the base of her tail. There is another tangle of clawmarks across her belly, as well. Across the right side of her face is a large burn scar, the eye on that side also gone. Starting just behind her left ear are scars created by lightning, these extend down the side of her neck, to her chest, shoulder and left foreleg, and can be described as resembling tree roots or fern leaves, also known as Lichtenberg figures. Smaller burn scars litter her pelt as well, all a result of being struck by lightning.

Personality

Beech is, to put it mildly, a beech. She's stubborn, with a short temper and no patience to speak of. Brash and hot-headed, she's desperate to prove herself as a capable warrior and absolutely despised her time as a medicine cat. To her, that, Starclan and Dawnhawk are the root of all of her problems in one way or another. If it's not one of them, then it must be Windclan or Riverclan, clearly. She holds grudges, and a few bad apples have very much soured the entire tree, so to speak. She's quick to get into fights, and has very little respect for Starclan or the warrior code that she feels has taken so much from her already.

Despite all of this, she is fiercely loyal to Skyclan and those she cares about. She understands that she isn't exactly likeable to most, and simply does not care for the opinions of others, even among her own clan. As a medicine cat her duty was to make sure they stayed healthy and survived what the world threw at them, as a warrior, her duty is to protect them from harm. Having been a reluctant, bitter medicine cat for so long, she is desperate to prove herself just as capable a warrior as anyone else.
